Required:
Demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects
Passionate about Open Source software.
High energy level, can-do attitude, quick learner, ability to learn new technologies, and work with them effectively in a short period of time.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Very good read comprehension and writing in English.
3 years Linux experience (Red hat preferred)
Experience with compiling, configuring and supporting Open Source software (Apache, Tomcat, MySQL)
Experience with installing binary rmp's using yum or apt-get and keeping systems consistent across updates.
Ability to write/test/debug bash scripts.
Understanding of network infrastructure and design

Desired:
5+ years Linux experience
Working knowledge of industry standard security programs and procedures
Sendmail configuration and maintenance
Experience with vendor relations, evaluations, RFPs, etc.
Distributed database application deployment experience
Knowledge of Samba and LDAP.
Knowledge of AoE or iSCSI.
Load balancing and clustering experience
Asterisk IP PBX implementation and maintenance
Experience with server virtualization, such as VMWare, Xen or Microsoft Virtual Server
Knowledge of software build / deployment processes and procedures i.e. Maven, Ant, Eclipse etc….
System Forensics experience/knowledge
