A los que usan Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu, Arch, Sidux, linspire/freespire, etc… activen la cuenta de root y configuren bien sudo… lean en google acerca de esto.

En un mundo donde el incremento de la complejidad del software hace que el manejo de bugs se dificulta mas y mas, elegir ser innestable solo por estar a la vanguardia no es de mi agrado.

If "everything is a file in UNIX" is common knowledge, there is also common knowledge that the security model in Linux and BSD follows the UNIX model, not the old Windows approach. Constantly using the system as the privileged user is not an option.
Si "todo es un archivo en UNIX" es de conocimiento comun, tambien es de conocimiento comun que Linux y BSD siguen el modelo de seguridad de UNIX, no el antiguo modelo de Windows. Utlizar el sistema constantemente con privilegios de root no es una opcion.

A first attempt to make the users life easier was made by Freespire. Most readers should know that the root account is disabled in Ubuntu, the user needing to gain temporary superuser privileges through the sudo command. Well, as allowed by the architecture of sudo, Freespire is configured to accept sudo without requiring the user to enter any password! (Yes, there is an infamous NOPASSWD somewhere in /etc/sudoers).
Un primer intento por hacer la vida al usuario mas facil fue hecho por Freespire. La mayoria de los lectores deberian saber que la cuenta de root esta deshabilitada en Ubuntu, y el usuario gana temporalmente privilegios de superusuarios a travez del comando sudo. Bien, segun lo perimitido por la arquitectura de sudo, Freespire esta configurado para aceptar comandos sudo sin requerir al usuario un password!!!(si, usa el infame NOPASSWD en algun lugar de /etc/sudoers).

Given that by enabling the "Admin Approval Mode", a similar operation mode is available in Vista too (you could just press ENTER or click a button to accept administrative tasks), I would refrain myself from declaring Freespire's defaults as inspired by Windows 95. They can be easily changed anyway.
