quisiera saber de un buen afinador de guitarra para Gentoo X86
y en lo posible instrucciones de uso

Encontré dos aplicaciones, no están compiladas para gentoo pero tenés el código fuente y son aplicaciones pequeñas, no creo que te cueste compilarlas:

Gstring

Y también hay una aplicación en java que te ayuda a afinar la guitarra, lo bueno es que podes elegir entre varias afinaciones:

Leiste el INSTALL o el README?, por ahí necesitas epecificarle un parámetro a make o correrlo de otra carpeta.

To install just do this:
./runme
This assumes gnome help files are to be placed in /usr/share/gnome/help and if this is not true, change it to whatever is the case on your system.

GTUNE - A GUITAR TUNER FOR LINUX SYSTEMS

The original README that was packaged with gtune is also included, this I do
reccomend you read. The license detailed in the original README does not apply
to this package and has therefore been removed.

For installation instructions read INSTALL

This little program allows you to tune your guitar (and possibly other
instruments) in an interactive way by sampling microphone input and
calculating the fundamental frequency by means of a Fast Fourier
Transform.

THE GNOME INTERFACE

This version has added to it a gnome interface which I (Michael Celli)
consider to be quite attractive. At any rate the Makefile is not autoconf
(sorry), but it should work on anything where Gnome is working. It uses
gnome-conf so that is required.

COMPILING AND INSTALLING

Unzip and untar (heck, you've already done that) in a dummy directory.
All you need to do is execute ./runme and it should work (ignore all those
silly warnings)

The source should compile OOTB. Feel free
to report any problems though. The resulting binary can be installed
anywhere you want - it saves a /usr/local/etc/.gnome-gtune file to keep
preferences info. If the program loads and says it cannot open this file, that
simply means you probably haven't created one by changing any preferences,
the program will run as normal.

BUGS

FFT is slow on the writer's P133 and not to great on my K6 300 either.

If this program seems to be running unbelievably slow, run the program
and check and make sure that there is a .gnome-gtune-status file in your
/usr/local/etc directory. If not, you must get yourself access to that
directory from your sysadmin or whoever.

justamente gui no tiene las opciones escomo si le faltaran cosas, poara tunear
de alli el querer compilarlo

instale el k3guitune pero no entiendo un nada del gui como pa decir que estoy afinando algo jajaj

Ya esta. Es simple tocas las cuerdas, recuerdas su equivalente en ingles, Do=C, y asi en fin. Si al tocar la cuerda correspondiente a Do marca a derecha o izquierda de la letra C, implica un ajuste mayor o menor ,)

Esto no tiene nada que ver con linux pero ahi va.

F = FA
G = SOL
A = LA
B = SI

Si a estas letras se le agrega un # eso significa que es el sostenido, por ejemplo E# = Mi sostenido.
